By accessing or using Ummah Tales, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Ummah Tales is designed for families. A parent or guardian should use the service on behalf of children and is responsible for the information submitted and how generated content is used.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating a story.

Users confirm they have permission from a parent or legal guardian before uploading any child's image.

Users must not upload images they do not have the right to use.

Optional child photos are used only to create personalised storybook illustrations. We aim to remove uploaded child photos as soon as reasonably possible after generation.

Uploaded child photos are removed after the story generation process is completed where technically possible, unless temporary retention is required for technical troubleshooting or security purposes.

Storybooks are created using automated and AI-assisted tools. Generated content may contain variations, mistakes, or inconsistencies in text, illustrations, or layout. You are responsible for reviewing the final generated book before downloading, sharing, or printing.

Illustrations inspired by uploaded photos are stylised storybook artwork and may not be an exact likeness.

Unless we give written permission, storybooks and downloads are for personal and family use only. You must not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit generated content without our consent.

Ummah Tales owns the website, brand, templates, designs, and related assets. You receive a personal licence to use your generated storybook for permitted family use as described above. You must not copy or misuse our brand, website code, or underlying templates except as allowed through normal use of the service.

You must not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, upload unlawful or inappropriate content, or infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

We may update, pause, or remove features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes where practical, but the service is provided on an evolving basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ummah Tales is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

These Terms are intended to be interpreted in line with the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live.
